1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Invoice Maker ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all users of the mobile application across iOS and Android platforms, including guest users and registered account holders.

2. Software License & Scope

Conditioned on your compliance with these Terms, Invoice Maker grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the application on compatible mobile devices for your personal or commercial invoice and billing management.

You agree not to modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, rent, sub-license, distribute, or create derivative works based on the application, its codebase, or its backend infrastructure.

3. User Accounts & Data Responsibility

• Account Setup: You may use Invoice Maker via supported identity providers (Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple). You agree to provide accurate, true business and billing information.
• Credential Security: You are solely responsible for securing your mobile device and authenticating credentials. All activities taking place under your account are your sole responsibility.
• Secured Firestore Storage: We do not use local storage for report storages. All financial reports, ledger metrics, invoices, and client records are stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore with user-level isolation and AES-256 encryption.
• Zero Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, distribute, or monetize your business records, financial figures, or reports with third parties. Your data remains strictly confidential.

5. Proprietary Rights & User Content

• Ownership & Data Privacy: You retain complete ownership, copyright, and proprietary rights over all invoice records, client information, financial reports, business logos, and figures that you input into the application. All reports are stored in secured Firestore, and we never share your data. Invoice Maker claims no ownership rights over your business content.
• Invoice Maker Intellectual Property: All software architecture, design tokens, visual interfaces, graphics, logos, algorithms, and application code are the exclusive intellectual property of Invoice Maker and its licensors.

6. In-App Subscriptions & Billing Terms

Invoice Maker Pro offers expanded capabilities such as unlimited invoices, unlimited client profiles, and automated cloud sync:

• Subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed and processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via our subscription infrastructure provider (Adapty).
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the specified interval (e.g., weekly, monthly, annual) unless auto-renewal is canceled in your device App Store / Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the current billing period concludes.
• All refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their standard consumer purchase policies.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the application to:

• Issue fictitious, unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive invoices or tax claims.
• Violate any local, state, national, or international statute or taxation standard.
• Transmit malicious payloads, worms, trojans, or unauthorized automation scripts.
• Attempt unauthorized access to our Google Cloud Firestore databases, servers, or networks.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE INVOICE MAKER APPLICATION AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT APPLICATION OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVOICE MAKER AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF REVENUE, BUSINESS PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our cloud services without prior notice if a user engages in fraudulent activity, violates these Terms, or disrupts backend services. You may discontinue use and delete your account at any time via in-app settings or our web portal.
